Abstract

PPCs are a nightmare to all experienced cataract surgeons. The abnormal adhesion of the polar opacity to the posterior capsule and the preexisting weakness of the posterior capsule predispose to PCR. So this video is an overview of the surgical strategies to deal with the PPCs- both uncomplicated and complicated cases to get good post operative results. This video compile many PPC surgical videos to describe the specific principles to be followed in each step of surgery.
