GP0166 : Indirect Ophthalmoscopy

Abstract

Pooja Sinha

Indirect Ophthalmoscopy is the single most important diagnostic tool for the complete evaluation of
the posterior segment of the eye. This instruction course is a step by step approach to the basics of
indirect ophthalmoscopy. Medical Retina Experts share the technique of doing indirect
ophthalmoscopy, scleral indentation, color coding and fundus drawing. Candidates will actually draw
and color in their fundus charts simultaneously which will be provided in the educational kits given
to each delegate free of cost. The last part of the course will be a "hands on" training and
simultaneous interactive session with individual co-instructors using indirect ophthalmoscopes and
dummy eyes.
