FP0602 : Use of new alternative techniques in dealing with ptosis in special situations.

Abstract

DESIGN
Prospective study.
METHOD
Patients who presented with myogenic ptosis, Marcus Gunn jaw winking phenomenon, mild ptosis negative for phenylephrine were treated. Multiple techniques like tarsal switch technique (10 patients), frontalis flap technique (15 patients), white line advancement technique (10 patients) was used during the management.
RESULTS
All three techniques provided satisfactory results with very few patients requiring revision surgeries.
