IC0013 : Walk in Uveitis patients- a stepwise approach and management by general ophthalmologists

Abstract

A uveitis patient often poses a challenge to a general ophthalmologist regarding diagnosis , investigations and management. This instruction course(IC)will provide an algorithmic approach to all types of uveitis coming for the first time to a general ophthalmologist . What uveitis oriented history, laboratory, radiologic and ancillary tests should be done at primary eye care level and what treatment should be provided at first visit itself will be highlighted. This IC will also provide the guidelines when and which patient to refer to higher center or a uveitis specialist, Uveitis experts of more than 15 years of experience from various parts of the country will provide the guidelines with case based approach
